Painting at the Cigar Zone

One of my favorite pastimes is smoking cigars with my friends, along with painting with friends. I thought it would fun to combine the two so now I am painting portraits bi-monthly at the Old Oaks Cigar Company in Thousand Oaks, California. Brothers Albert, Arsine and Leon host a wonderful atmosphere thats friendly and always festive. They serve wine and beer and have one of the best humidors in the Los Angeles area. My first painting session (right) was with my good friend and student, George Paliotto. I dragged him back into smoking cigars and now he's hooked.
